Mark Anderson, O.D.

Mark Anderson, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1988 and completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Oklahoma State University.  His special field of interest is multifocal contacts.

Dr. Anderson says he always wanted to help people see more clearly, and experiencing a patient’s response when you help them is a tremendous feeling.  Whether it’s providing relief after removing a foreign body from their eye or seeing the look on a child’s face the first time they can see well, it’s very gratifying.  He also enjoys watching his patients grow up.  He has patients he began treating when they were five years old who are now coming in to be fit with their first pair of bifocals at 40 years old.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Anderson likes to design things that are unique in nature.  He says he is always building or “fixing” something.  He also enjoys writing jokes and riddles in his free time.
