Meet Dr. Lama Younes (Houston, TX)

Lama Younes, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2022. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in 2020, majoring in Public Health with a minor in Biology.

Dr. Younes chose optometry because of her passion for working with people and her strong interest in the human body. While working as a technician during her undergraduate studies, she quickly fell in love with the profession and knew optometry was the right path for her.

What Dr. Younes enjoys most about being an optometrist is seeing the satisfaction patients experience when their prescriptions are perfectly tailored to their needs. She also values building lasting relationships with her patients and being a part of their visual journey year after year.
